This is one aspect overlooked or ignored by most conventional Western medical practitioners. We accumulate toxic waste in our colon over years of eating. Some of this toxic waste matter may dry up and accumulate in diverticula or pile up in certain curvatures of our colon. This toxic waste matter serves colonic cesspools for harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites and toxins. Doesn't it make sense to remove or cleanse these waste materials and toxins on a regular basis to eliminate the breeding ground for these unwanted "guests" in our colon?. These unwanted "guests" are the major root cause of IBS.

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
Hemorrhoids are masses of areolar tissue containing numerous small arteries and veins in the rectal area. They are actually natural in the anal canal, designed to protect and cushion the anal canal. Hemorrhoids rarely cause symptoms by themselves until excessive intrarectal pressure pushes hemorrhoids downward. When the hemorrhoidal tissue enlarges and descends downward into the anal canal, they are called "prolapse," also known as "piles". They are termed internal or external hemorrhoids dependent on their position in the rectal area. They are also classified as first-degree, second-degree, third-degree or fourth-degree dependent on the distance they protrude into the anal canal.
9 million people in U.S. alone seek medical treatment for hemorrhoids each year. In additon, it is estimated that 22 million hemorrhoids sufferers do not visit a physician. It is estimated that 80 percent of us will have a debilitating hemorrhoid at least once in our lifetime. Hemorrhoids is a very common condition especially in people over 50.
Bleeding, itching, burning and pain are the most common symptoms. Blood is typically bright red. It may spurt or drip from the anus. Pain may range from mild to severe from the edema and inflammation of the hemorrhoidal tissue.
- Constipation leading to straining to have a bowel movement is the main cause.
- Poor and high protein diet (too much meat, protein powder or other high protein low fiber foods), leading to constipation.
- Pregnancy creating pressure on the bowel.
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Sitting too long on the toilet.
- Standing or lifting too much.
- Obesity.
- Overuse of laxatives.
- Inflammation or infection of the rectal area.
- Heredity.
- Other rectal problems.
Suppositories, creams, cryogenic devices, "rubber band ligation" and surgery (hemorrhoidectomy).
Suppositories and creams only provide temporary relief from pain
and discomfort. Cryogenic devices, "rubber band ligation" and surgery are more permanant
but painful and expensive procedure. However, they do not eliminate the cause of
hemorrhoids. Therefore, hemorrhoids can recur.
Frequently asked questions about Nutrigenesis Approach for Hemorrhoid prevention and treatment:
- Question: I am on prescription drugs for high blood pressure, thyroid functions and diabetes, may I take these drugs while I am on Lean-N-Clean?
Answer: Yes, you may take these drugs (or most other prescription drugs except the long-acting anti-reflux drugs) while you are on Lean-N-Clean. However, you should take them at least one hour apart. Lean-N-Clean contains a lot of water-soluble fibers among other ingredients. It has high absorbing power. It will interfere with the absorption of the other drugs if they are taken at the same time.
- Question: How long does it take to see result for hemorrhoids from Nutrigenesis Approach?
Answer: You should see result in 2-4 weeks. You are advised to make lifestyle
changes as recommended by Nutrigenesis Approach along with taking Lean-N-Clean
and Avatrol. Remember this analogy: Just because you are wearing seat belt, it does not mean you should drive recklessly. Avatrol is meant for one time use for initial hemorrhoid treatment and flare-up. Lean-N-Clean is meant for maintenance therapy. You are also advised to follow the Nutrigenesis Approch Intestinal Cleansing Program as long term preventive therapy. If you keep your colon functioning smoothly, chances are, hemorrhoids will never return.
- Question: Is Lean-N-Clean something that I have to take for the rest of my life once I start taking it?
Answer: No, definitely not. You may stop taking it after you recover. You may start back any time you want or take it sporadically as needed. However, you may suffer from hemorrhoids again after you stop taking Lean-N-Clean and start improper lifestyle practices again. It is a good idea to take it at least once a day as maintenance therapy. There are no withdrawal symptoms when you stop.
