 Diana Chan Chauvin, R.Ph, B.C.N.S.P., the President of the company, founded Nutrition & Health Educator, Inc. in 1997 upon clear realization of the limitations of drugs and overcoming the fear of abandoning the profession that has given her a secure income for decades. She practiced as a Registered Pharmacist in United States for 23 years. The last 10 of these 23 years of professional practice, Diana practiced primarily as a clinical nutritionist with the title of "Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist (BCNSP)."
Her specialty in nutrition involved formulating intravenous nutritional solutions tailored to individual patient's needs in a hospital setting on a day-to-day basis. The majority of these patients had bowel surgeries and gastric bypass surgeries. Diana has witnessed the miserable outcomes of numerous bowel surgeries due to bowel obstructions, colon cancer or other intestinal diseases as a result of toxic buildup in intestinal tract and/or other reasons.
Diana Chan Chauvin's experience with decades of failure to control her own intestinal problems, acne and halitosis/bad breath with drugs and her first hand experience with the outcome of unclean intestines had compelled her to seek alternative methods to solve her health problems. Her success in solving her own health problems using nutrition, alternative therapies and knowledge she acquired from traditional Chinese medicines was instrumental in shifting the focus of her professional interests towards nutrition and natural therapies. Inspired by her results, she left the pharmacy practice and the methods it prescribes. Diana is now devoted to educating the general public about the importance of intestinal cleansing and proper nutrition to prevent numerous intestinal diseases and other related health problems.
The company's feature intestinal cleanser was developed in 1997 under the trademark name of Lean-N-Clean®. A complementary holistic approach, Nutrigenesis Approach®, was also developed, and has now become the registered trademark for the company's line of products. The word, "Nutrigenesis," was created to convey the meaning of "the origin or beginning of nutrition." The company has been marketing the product in tradeshows, health and fitness expos and professional conventions since 1998. Diana Chan Chauvin has also been giving free lectures to the general public whenever there are opportunities to do so. As a result, Nutrigenesis Approach® and Lean-N-Clean® have been gaining recognition and popularity.
Lean-N-Clean® was originally designed for weight-loss and intestinal cleansing/body detox as preventive therapy for various intestinal problems. Over the years Lean-N-Clean® along with Nutrigenesis Approach® lifestyle recommendations have helped many people naturally solve various intestinal and digestive problems, such as acid reflux, constipation, diverticulitis, colitis, hemorrhoids, IBS, etc. Lean-N-Clean® and Nutrigenesis Approach® lifestyle recommendations have also helped people overcome other health issues such as acne, high cholesterol level and halitosis (bad breath).
Nutrition & Health Educator, Inc. started building a strong presence in e-commerce in the summer of 2002. Diana has written a book named "Nutrigenesis Approach®", which explains the theory behind her approach and is a collection of professional knowledge and her personal experience in layman's language. Early 2005, a new formula was developed with the trademark - Acidgone®. The formula of Acidgone® is based on the original formula of Lean-N-Clean® with the difference of four active ingredients. Acidgone® was created specifically for people with acid reflux/GERD, especially those people who have failed the conventional treatments with drugs or people who choose to use alternative therapy for this health issue. Acidgone® has been available for purchase since July, 2005. Our Lean-N-Clean® formula and packaging have also been modified. It is now called Lean-N-Clean® Advanced Formula.
The Nutrigenesis Approach® Program Manual has been translated into Spanish. The Spanish version of Nutrigenesis Approach Program Manual has been available for purchase since September, 2005. Nutrigenesis Approach is currently positioning to serve the Hispanic communities in Untied States and people in countries with Spanish as the first language.
The company web site - www.nutrigenesis.com was re-created and improved in December 2005.
Currently Nutrigenesis Approach is shipping products to retail and wholesale customers in many countries overseas in addition to the United States. Nutrigenesis Approach is positioning itself to expand into global markets.
Nutrigenesis Approach products are manufactured in United States using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as regulated by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Diana and her company's mission is to bridge the gap between traditional Chinese and Western healthcare approach, inspire people to live a healthy lifestyle physically and mentally, take control of and be responsible for their own health and actions, and most importantly avoid dependency on drugs.
